The Role

Reporting to the SVP, Financial Partnerships, this candidate will be part of our vital Financial Partnerships team, charged with expanding our current partnership footprint to create new revenue streams, build audience, and drive member engagement, for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. The Senior Director, Financial Partnerships will oversee the implementation of new partnerships and point-transfer programs, as well optimize revenue potential of existing partners. You will be responsible for managing and enhancing relationships with existing partners, developing strategies for partnership growth and integration, identifying and negotiating deals with new partners, overseeing partnership performance, and ensuring alignment with business goals.

What you'll do
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategy for new partners.
  • Manage and operationalize new and existing point transfer programs.
  • Oversee the management of existing partnerships where Wyndham Rewards members can both earn and redeem points, including communication, collaboration, and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Lead and manage a team of partnership managers, set goals, provide support, and evaluate performance.
  • Drive collaboration with internal operational teams to complete onboarding and ensure a smooth partner implementation.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new partnership opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Nurture senior relationships with new and existing partners.
  • Prioritize and develop strategies to optimize revenue growth for partners to cultivate a clear and focused plan to ensure revenue goals and KPI's by partner are met.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all partnership activities.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, to keep them informed and engaged.
  • Partner with the Finance/Analytics team to manage P&L and understand key metrics and drivers.
  • Organize and deliver regularly scheduled business reviews with partners.
  • Ensure partnerships deliver on promises to Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, its franchisees, and its members.

  • Proven track record of optimizing and growing account/partner revenue.
  • Effective people leader and team player with the ability to collaborate, adapt and manage ambiguity.
  • First class executive communication skills; ability to present, negotiate, and influence.
  • A strategic thinker who can work quickly and execute independently.
  • Deep curiosity, excellent listening skills, and the ability to get things done in a collaborative environment.
  • Appetite and enthusiasm to work as part of a team that is not afraid of getting their hands dirty and supporting each other.

  • Ability to build rapport and engagement with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Highly organized project management experience with the ability to develop, articulate, and operationalize.

Required Qualifications/Experience
  • 10+ years of senior-level account/partner management with experience handling multiple high-touch relationships at one time.
