Responsibilities

The Sr. Director, HR Business Partner will help shape and execute enterprise business and Human Capital strategies for our ASC and Practice Operations and contribute across a broad range of priorities for growth businesses, including business transformation, culture building, workforce strategy, organizational effectiveness, diversity, inclusion and belonging, talent development, leadership/executive coaching, and Teammate experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of HR Business Partners effectively through coaching, mentoring, and by setting clear strategy and expectations in order to create a high performing team.,
  • Consulting & Coaching: Establish yourself as a strategic partner and coach to business leaders by providing timely and critical guidance to continually improve business ideation, tactics, strategies and perspectives in order to achieve exceptional business results.
  • Organizational Effectiveness: Accelerate business transformation to positively impact results through masterful use and implementation of organizational design best practices, change management initiatives, workforce planning and organization hygiene analysis using best available data.
  • Data and Analytics: Proactively design, develop, and deploy human capital solutions through on-going data analysis and recommend actions aligned with business strategies.
  • Talent: Drive a business talent strategy by applying talent acquisition, workforce planning, succession planning, total rewards, and diversity, inclusion and belonging strategies to create positive outcomes.
  • Culture and Teammate Experience: Leverage a deep understanding of culture, diversity and the drivers impacting a positive teammate experience to create and maintain a positive, rewarding, and inclusive environment for all teammates.
  • Business Fluency: Articulate the short and long-term strategies for the business and demonstrate an understanding of internal and external factors that drive costs and teammate experience while translating highly complex concepts into ways that are appropriate and tailored to the audience.
  • Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging: Integrate, align, and embed diversity, inclusion and belonging strategies into all aspects of work. Role model SCAH values of Clinical Quality, Service Excellence, Teamwork, Accountability, Continuous Improvement, Integrity and Inclusion.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or demonstrated equivalency.
  • 10+ years of human capital experience including leading teams of direct reports, preferably indirect reports as well.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully navigating, upskilling and working through HR Center of Service functions in order to execute on HR and business strategies in order to achieve results.
  • Demonstrated enterprise systems thinking mindset to understand intended and unintended consequences of decisions while influencing executives.
  • Ability to lead large scale, multi-business segment organizational effectiveness and change management strategies in a fast-paced mergers and acquisitions climate.
  • Highly influential and persuasive, disruptive strategic thinker, willing to challenge conventional and siloed thinking, drive change, and offer different viewpoints at all levels of the organization as appropriate.
  • Experienced collaborator and facilitator with demonstrated success working seamlessly across multiple stakeholders and business units in a highly complex, matrixed environment.
