Client located in New York, NY is actively searching for a full-time Senior Media Director. This is an urgent requirement and the Client is ready to conduct immediate interviews for well-qualified candidates.Salary range: $165,000 to $185,000Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision (100% paid coverage), 401k + matchWork Loc: New York, NYSUMMARYThe Senior Director, Media plays a pivotal role in shaping and elevating Client's Media brand. This position is key to developing brand identity and narrative, identifying target audiences, and driving impactful storytelling. The Senior Director will focus on creating cross-platform offerings to enhance local and global affinity, achieving both brand and revenue goals. As an integral part of building the business, the role encompasses vision and strategy development, organizational design, recruitment, P&L leadership, and process/operations establishment.WHAT YOU WILL DO:Lead Business Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations for Client's media business in collaboration with the GM, Media.Brand Strategy and Positioning: Guide the development of brand strategy, positioning, and points of differentiation.Cross-Departmental Advocacy: Advocate for the Media business internally, collaborating with critical team members to align with business objectives.Audience Insights and Strategic Direction: Utilize consumer insights, research, and cultural trends to identify target audiences and craft strategic direction for business verticals.Performance Measurement: Develop critical metrics and guide the measurement and reporting approach for key initiatives and brand metrics.Collaborative Marketing Campaigns: Collaborate on marketing campaigns to enhance reach with intended audiences, utilizing institutional and paid assets and channels.Strategic Planning and Project Management: Lead strategic planning and project management with Content, Creative, and Consumer teams to bring key initiatives to life.Year-round Marketing and Programming Calendar: Create a comprehensive marketing and programming calendar for the Media brand.Global Partnerships and Media Plans: Collaborate with Global Partnerships to build breakthrough campaigns and platforms for partner investment. Work with Communications and Talent Marketing teams to develop earned media plans.Strategic Partnerships: Pursue partnerships with leading media, entertainment, and hospitality companies to expand engagement with new audiences.WHO YOU ARE:Experience: 10+ years in media, marketing, brand development, content, strategic partnerships, and/or agencies. Preferred experience in lifestyle, culture, entertainment, and/or sports sectors.Passionate and Knowledgeable: Passionate about Pop Culture with knowledge of current and emerging trends. Significant knowledge of Brooklyn and New York City culture is preferred.Strategic Expertise: Expertise in launching and/or scaling brands and businesses. Creative problem solver with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities.Traits: Intellectually curious with a growth mindset. Analytical minded with a propensity to leverage data for decision-making.Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communicator with strong presentation capabilities.
