  • Proven track record of closing six- and seven-figure sponsorship deals
  • Strong relationships with media agency decision-makers and brand-direct marketing executives
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce to track pipeline and revenue progress
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
Responsibilities
  • This is a revenue-driving sales role, responsible for securing sponsorships and brand partnerships across LaQuan Smith premier live events.
  • The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in content partnerships, business development, and account management—preferably with a focus on NYFW and Paris Fashion Week, live entertainment, award shows, and other high-profile events
  • The Director will engage with media agencies within major holding companies as well as client-direct CMOs and senior marketing executives to sell integrated sponsorships and advertising solutions
  • Proactively develop new revenue opportunities and build a robust pipeline to meet and exceed annual sales goals
  • Identify, pitch, and close high-value sponsorship and brand partnership deals
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with media agencies, brand marketers, and decision-makers across key verticals (e.g., Consumer Electronics, Liquor, Wireless, Retail, Auto, Travel, CPG)
  • Work closely with the internal teams to craft compelling go-to-market strategies
  • Oversee the execution of sold sponsorships, ensuring seamless integration of brand activations across live events, broadcast, digital, and social platforms
  • Manage contract negotiations, renewals, and long-term partnership strategies in collaboration with legal and finance teams
  • As LaQuan Smith LLC values in-person collaboration and team cohesion, this role would work onsite 3 days a week and 2 days remotely with a focus on maintaining a vibrant and inclusive culture
