Senior Director, Strategic Partner Management

As our Senior Director of Strategic Partner Development, you lead the team responsible for architecting a global network of artisan partners that will form the backbone of Maiden Home's product strategy. As a key member of our product leadership team, you will be responsible for cultivating new vendor relationships, devising new supply chain strategies, as well as developing the processes by which we will successfully develop and launch a quickly growing number of product lines.

This role is located at our New York headquarters, located in the TriBeCa design district.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop supply chain strategy to support product portfolio expansion, including building relationships with new manufacturing and material partners who meet Maiden Home's design, quality, cost and supply chain requirements.
  • Guide our path to scaling globally by weighing a spectrum of considerations from brand storytelling through to operational excellence to make the right decisions for the long term.
  • Negotiate costing and placement for product programs across Maiden Home's supplier base, ensuring design intent, quality, and accretive margin profile.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding of new vendors, or architect new supply chain models as necessary to support new product lines.
  • Captain multi-year launch calendar planning across key functional areas including Marketing, Operations, and Sales.
  • Lead and mentor team members; set objectives, assess performance, and provide regular feedback.

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy, operations, business development and/or supply chain at high-growth, brand-forward companies.
  • 4+ years of people management, mentorship, and team development.
  • Highly collaborative with track record of building constructive and effective cross-functional and external relationships to maneuver through complex situations.
  • Entrepreneurial with a growth mindset and ability to develop innovative strategies and operating models.
  • Inspiring and effective leader with track record of delivering commercial results through direct and indirect teams.
  • Process-oriented with the ability to identify systems and resources required to scale and to articulate clear direction that empowers cross-functional teams and external partners to execute.
  • Strong attention to detail, a “can-do” attitude with a healthy dose of hustle, and the ability to consistently take initiative, demonstrating relentless follow-through in a startup environment.
  • Ability to travel 25-30% time, domestically and internationally.
