What You Will Be Doing Design, Manage, and Execute material handling plant automation projects from estimating throughengineering and installation/commissioning with an emphasis on Electrical Design and Controls aspects of the project.
What You Need for this Position Responsibilities: - Calculate the Labor and Material Costs for New Material Handling Plant Automation Systems - Define Parts and Design Electrical Systems for Control Panels - Adhere to NEC, NFPA, and UL 508A standards while designing industrial controls - Construct meticulously recorded Customer Approval Packages - Utilize DraftSight and E-Plan tools to generate production-ready drawings - HMI and PLC Programming (Allen Bradley PLCs, FactoryTalk View ME/SE) - Complete system checkout in-house - Participate in vendor and customer factory acceptance testing - Create comprehensive project instruction manuals - Help clients with system startup and troubleshooting over the phone and in person - Examine novel technologies that are on the market and make contributions to innovative designs and advancements - Assist Sales Personnel when technical know-how is needed Project Manager Responsibilities: - Coordinate, support, and mentor associate and intermediate engineers, including work evaluation, while working with the engineering, sales, accounting, and office staff - Oversee and coordinate the work of the mechanical design staff on the controls and design of material handling equipment - Manage project expenses and specify deviations from projections - Stay in touch with clients during the project - Create, track, and manage project schedules and timeframes; o Interact with vendors and customers and seek technical data - Collaborate with the purchasing department to resolve supply chain problems and acquire project materials.Requirements: - Electrical engineering or a similar field as a bachelor's degree - UL MTR Certified or eager to obtain UL MTR Certification - Possess knowledge of DraftSight (or AutoCAD) and E-Plan software - Skilled in designing control panels that adhere to NFPA, NEC, and UL 508A requirements - Experience with Industrial Controls, Material Handling Systems, and Plant Automation, preferably from an OEM Machine Builder or Systems Integrator perspective - Knowledge of Allen Bradley Hardware (PLCs, VFDs, SoftStarts, HMIs, etc.) and Rockwell Software Products (FactoryTalk View, Logic Designer, CCW) So, if you are a Senior Electrical Controls Engineer with manufacturing and Project Management experience, please apply today or send your resume to
