Job Description :

Job Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and analyze existing building equipment and systems to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Investigate various energy efficient technologies and their application to site conditions.
  • Complete detailed engineering calculations of energy savings and carbon emissions (Local Law 97) savings and define financial benefits.
  • Present concepts and detailed solutions to building owners.
  • Lead and manage design of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Manage bid processes and coordination with vendors/subcontractors.
  • Manage project tracking in various databases and systems, report on status periodically to owner and NYSERDA.
  • Compile, submit, and track utility incentive application packages.
  • Write detailed, quarterly reports and case studies.

  • Experience Requirements:

    • Experience in Energy (Mechanical and/or Electrical) Engineering and Project Management.
    • Knowledge of large commercial and residential building systems, controls systems, and commissioning processes.
    • Knowledge of NYC Local Laws, energy codes, and utility incentive programs.
    • Proven experience working with vendors/contractors and managing contractors.
    • Knowledge of energy, building, and construction codes.
