Senior Engineering Manager Gen AI New York City (Hybrid) $180,000-$210,000 + EquityAbout us: We are working with a dynamic startup specializing in an innovative fintech management platform with a focus on leveraging ML models to optimize operations. They are currently partnered with some of the biggest clients in their space and are looking to grow out the team. Role Description: As a key engineering leader, you will mentor a team of full-stack engineers, align their work with company goals, and oversee the development and enhancement of product features. You'll guide the scaling of our systems to handle thousands of users, ensuring reliability and user satisfaction. Contributing to product strategy with innovative ideas, you'll collaborate closely with product management, design, and other teams to ensure seamless development and deployment while driving continuous improvement in our processes. Requirements:

• Proficient in React, Typescript, Node, Express
• In-depth knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
• Has worked in a startup environment
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (integrations team, implementation team, stakeholders, etc.)
• Oversee the building of new features and the expansion of existing functionalities.
• Collaborate with the PM and implementation manager to enhance and iterate on existing features based on customer feedback.
• Develop and expand system integrations to improve connectivity with our products.
• Optimize our backend infrastructure to handle scalability and support thousands of users.
• Implement features to streamline the onboarding process for large volumes of new users.
• Conduct routine site audits and perform maintenance as needed.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing engineering team.
