The primary purpose of the Senior Environmental Services Worker position is to perform various tasks to maintain a clean, safe, sanitary and attractive environment at the University Hospital. Serves as a Lead to ensure efficient workflow in assigned area(s), especially in the absence of the Supervisor, by starting the shift with the team, assisting with allocation of resources and equipment, and orienting new staff to cleaning procedures and infection control policies and procedures.

Ability to read, write, speak, understand and communicate in English sufficiently to carry out the duties of the position; two (2) years or more experience as an Environmental Services Worker required; demonstrated knowledge of Quality Control System as well as environmental controls.
