What will you do in this role?

As a Senior Events Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing various events to promote our Company's brand and support our business executives in advancing the company's profitable growth objectives. An ideal candidate will bring both a strategic mindset, strong tactical skill sets and marketing and communications expertise.

  • Event management:Oversee all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, and logistics.
  • Innovation:Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas to enhance event experiences.
  • Budget management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
  • Performance analysis: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure event success and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Event tier management: Manage the process for tier 2 and 3 events including invites using Act-On, RSVP tracking, and communication with attendees. Establish process for them.
  • Event promotion: Work in partnership with MarComm Lead to create and execute marketing campaigns to promote events, including social media, email marketing.
  • Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure successful event execution.

You may also be required to take on additional duties, responsibilities and activities appropriate to the nature of this role.

About You:

What you need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in events management
  • Budget management experience
  • Experience serving as a counselor/advisor to business leaders
  • Exceptional interpersonal, relationship building, and listening skills

What we prefer you to have:
  • Experience in the financial sector; insurance industry experience a plus

Role Factors:

Be in the office 3 days per week

What we offer:

For this position, we currently expect to offer a base salary in the range of $125,000 to $150,000 (NY). Your salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors including your specific experience and work location.

In addition, you will be offered competitive target incentive compensation, with awards based on overall corporate and individual performance.
