Our clients are passionate disruptors in the energy space, spearheading the energy transition through supporting the financing of renewables projects across the US. So far, the team there have invested $1bil+ in projects and they have successfully acquired a portfolio of projects that total 450+MW!

They are now looking for a Capital Markets professional, ideally based in New York, to assist with their financing strategy - including, but not limited to, sourcing tax equity, construction debt and corporate capital. You Will:

• Prepare financial models and confidential presentations under the guidance of senior team members.
• Assist in structuring and negotiating, as well as conducting due diligence, for financing transactions, including collaborating cross-functionally with consultants as needed.
• Provide key debt and tax equity inputs for project valuations, working closely with senior investment and capital markets leaders.
• Contribute to the internal analysis of financing strategies to align with the company's return objectives and strategic priorities.
• Maintain and update the organization's financial models for tax equity and debt.

You Must Have:

• 3-5+ years' experience in investment banking, energy project finance, or business development in the power generation or utility sectors.
• Thorough understanding of the creation of complex Excel models that are accurate and reliable
• Specialized knowledge of tax equity and debt financing for renewable energy projects.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
