They're involved in the entire product development cycle, from design to deployment, and maintenance.In this role, you will:Write clean, functional, and reusable code for both front-end and back-end systemsCollaborate with designers to turn mockups into user interfacesOptimize web design for mobile responsivenessImplement new features and fix bugs in existing codeTest and debug their own code developmentsCreate test data and conduct interfaces and unit testsWork with the development team to ensure system consistencyWork closely with designers, product teams, and other developersDemonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skillsPossess excellent verbal and written communication skillsUnderstand emerging technologies and best practicesRequired Qualifications:4+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education2+ years of Python experience 2+ years of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end developmentDesired Qualifications:2 years of User Interface experienceProficient in implementing back-end functionality using PythonAbility to ensure site compatibility across a range of screen resolutions.Contribute ideas and experience to new development solutions.Knowledge of modern technological advancements in web apps and programming languages.Experience preparing documentation and reports.Ability to support the project after its completion and integration of updates.Ability to handle various tasks and responsibilities independently, working on both the client-side (user interface and user experience) and server-side (database, server, and application logic) of a project.Job Expectations:Ability to work on-site at posted location, hybrid is currently availableThis position is not eligible for visa sponsorshipRelocation assistance is not availableNew York City-Pay Range: $115,900-$206,100San Francisco – Pay Range: $115,900-$206,100Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position.
