Senior Fullstack Developer - Eliassen Group : Job Details

Description: We are looking for an expert Full Stack Engineer to join us in the design and development of innovative technology for financial advisors and their clients using the newest technology stack in a collaborative and engaging environment?Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Rate: $62 - $64 / hr. w2Responsibilities: The candidate will work with project managers, systems analysts, offshore resources, tech leads, quality assurance, and architects to build solutions that meet critical business needs. You should possess problem solving skills and be able to translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.Experience with Java and Spring/SpringBoot or heavy NodeJS development on Server Side Jenkins and Docker experience. This squad manages their own pipelines. Unit Testing creation exposure (JUnit, Mockito, Karma/Jasmine)Experience Requirements:

• Must be a self-starter, able to work well with others, and communicate software changes to business partners, system analysts, QA engineers, etc.
• 10+ years of software development experience in a diverse set of distributed application development and middleware technologies such REST/SOAP and Java Web Services, and Test Driven Development
• Knowledge of NodeJS, Python and/or Angular is a plus (70/30 Backend is 70% of the role, with 30% of the role being Frontend)
• Jenkins and Docker experience, able to manage their own pipelines - requires Strong DevOps expertise / proven experience with AWS or another cloud platform using either Lucene, Solr, Elastic Search and other tools such as CloudWatch and Datadog or Splunk
• Knowledge of software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations in an agile environment using tools such as Unit Testing creation (JUnit, Mockito, Karma/Jasmine)
• You have the ability to effectively collaborate in an agile team, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (must have)
