This position manages all Human Resources operations and Facility Benefit Programs, ensuring compliance with policies. Key responsibilities include:
- Extensive experience in union environments, handling grievances, disputes, and collective bargaining agreements.
- Ensuring compliance with legal HR regulations and government reporting.
- Administering recruitment, employee training, benefits programs (insurance, 401k, etc.), and personnel records.
- Advising management on employee relations and resolving HR issues.
- Administering performance reviews, salary programs, and Affirmative Action Plans.
- Investigating accidents and conducting exit interviews.
- Supervising HR staff, training, and performance management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of HR experience, including working with unionized workforces.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience and benefits program management.
- Knowledge of COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, and related regulations.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- HR or SHRM certification preferred.
- Experience with Workday and ADP preferred.
