Relate Search is partnered with a dynamic manufacturing organization in their search for a Sr. HR Business Partner in the greater Augusta, GA area. As a business partner to the leadership team, this role reports to the site HR leader and supports a large, complex manufacturing campus.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic change agent and business partner to Operations team
- Drive culture and change management initiatives throughout the site with a focus on employee engagement, high performance teams, employee attraction & retention, and talent development
- Supports employee relations, recruitment, payroll, and benefits at the site
- Collaborate with leadership team on employee and leadership development initiatives, performance management, and succession planning efforts
- Provide counsel, guidance, and coaching to the business on employee engagement and employee relations matters
- In partnership with the leadership team, optimize org design efforts and exceed business goals
- In partnership with HR site leader, assist with the prioritization and development of HR initiatives, policies and activities across the site
Requirements:
- 7+ years Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment
- Track record of success in influencing managers at all levels
- Sound business acumen with a demonstrated understanding of employment law
- Action-oriented with the ability to think strategically and act tactically
- Customer service attitude with excellent communication and people skills
