Senior HVAC and Building Services Engineer Remote (Eastern/Central Time Zone)

Salary: $120,000 $175,000- commensurate with experience

At AtkinsRalis, we are looking for a Senior HVAC and Building Services Engineer to join our expanding team. This role offers the flexibility to work from Exton, PA, or remotely from anywhere in the Eastern or Central Time Zones.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the design of HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems.
  • Prepare building heating/cooling load calculations, air flow diagrams, and static pressure calculations.
  • Design systems such as chillers, boilers, heat exchangers, air handlers, and central plant equipment.
  • Coordinate with architectural, electrical, plumbing, and structural disciplines to ensure project success.
  • Conduct field surveys of existing conditions and oversee construction punch lists.
  • Write and review commissioning documents, and participate in project kick-offs.
  • Ensure projects meet budget and schedule requirements.
  • Use AutoCAD and Revit for design and drafting work.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and work independently to solve complex problems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Architectural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 8-10 years of experience in HVAC Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer.
  • Plumbing and Fire Protection design experience.
  • Experience in designing systems for clean rooms, pharmaceutical, and biotech facilities (preferred).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and load calculation programs (e.g., Carrier HAP, Trane Trace).
  • Knowledge of LEED certification (preferred).
