Senior Image Processing Engineer - Brady Corporation : Job Details

• Develop and test firmware on embedded platforms, such as Raspberry Pi, to automate manual processes and improve product functionality.
• Apply a solid working knowledge of electronics, sensors, and basic optics/RFID systems to optimize hardware performance. Conduct image quality tests and implement perceptual image processing techniques.
• Create and refine image processing and pattern recognition algorithms, implementing these in C/C++ and ensuring compatibility with embedded platforms.
• Utilize statistical methods, Design of Experiments (DOE), and analytics to verify and validate product quality and system reliability.
• Collaborate with product and customer-facing teams, supporting product specifications, documentation, and testing.
• Engage directly with customers, as needed, to gather insights and ensure product satisfaction.
