Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Interior Designer at KAPPLER in NYC. The Senior Interior Designer will be overlooking the full design process, with a focus on space planning, design conception and project management. As the Senior Interior Designer, you will lead projects throughout all phases from design concept, design development, interior design, and FF&E to construction documents. Client relationships are the core of our business, you will be responsible to nurture and built long lasting relationships as the project leader.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of professional experience in commercial interior design or architecture
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Keen eye for modern design
• Detail-oriented with strong project management skills
• Highly organized, ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, architects, and contractors
• Great communication skills and ability to create long lasting relationships
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design software
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous interior design projects
