The client is a RF amplifier and filter electronics manufacturing company in Fairlawn, New Jersey. The company operates in a state-of-the-art facility with 40 personnel. The company operates machining, PCBA assembly, amplifier module and system integration. The company has over 6000 part numbers in inventory and now requires a senior inventory and materials manager to run this. The successful candidate will report to the company Cost Accountant. Key Responsibilities: * Assign new bin locations and maintain accurate bin locations in the company inventory system. * Stock inventory and finished goods items in the proper bin locations. * Maintain proper bin locations as goods are moved. * Count materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock. * Report and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and inventory system records. * Develop and improve upon inventory management processes/procedures. * Maintain stockroom cleanliness and order. * Return material to stock, whether from kitting or production. Enter the in/out log and enter transactions into the system on a timely basis. * Identify stock levels and short falls when a BOM is released for production * Requisition material shortfalls within the system * Ensure all kits issued to the production floor are complete * Ensure all inventory deductions have withdrawal slips * Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Job Requirements Basic Requirements The role will have the authority to assign and maintain inventory bin locations and perform periodic inventory cycle counts under the supervision of the Cost Accountant. The role requires strong communication skills and a rigorous ownership mentality to ensure inventory levels match the inventory system at all times. Qualifications: * Associates Degree or equivalent. * Minimum of 7 years of experience preferably in an electronics manufacturing environment. * Must have experience working with part numbers of 10+ numbers and letters * Experience with Inventory Management Systems. * Ability to work in a stockroom environment. * Ability to lift 30 lbs. weight shoulder level. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication and people skills.
