Senior IT Systems Engineer (Windows & Citrix Virtualization) - Phaxis : Job Details

Salary is 130k to 160k + bonus

Seeking an experienced Senior IT Systems Engineer with a robust background in managing, configuring, and maintaining Microsoft Windows Servers and Citrix Desktop Virtualization environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in automating tasks using Powershell, optimizing IT workflows, and ensuring seamless operations across large-scale infrastructures. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the design, deployment, and ongoing support of Citrix virtual desktop environments, providing these solutions to a wide range of clients globally as part of our managed services offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage Windows Server infrastructures, including versions 2012 through 2022, ensuring robust performance and security.
• Automate administrative tasks and optimize server management processes using Powershell across a diverse IT landscape.
• Implement and support Citrix Desktop Virtualization solutions across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Manage and maintain Windows Active Directory services, including FSMO roles, DNS, and replication, ensuring seamless directory service operations.
• Provide exceptional client-facing support, presenting Citrix environments and solutions as part of a comprehensive managed services offering.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing Microsoft Windows Server environments (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022).
• In-depth knowledge of Windows Active Directory, including design, implementation, and troubleshooting of FSMO, DNS, and replication.
• Proven experience in deploying and managing Citrix environments (on-premises, hybrid, or cloud), including migrations and upgrades from legacy systems (Citrix 7.15/1912+).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on delivering reliable and scalable IT solutions.
