Job Description :
Title: Senior Java Developer Location: Remote Duration: 6 months (with possible extension) Job Duties:
  • Design, develop, debug, deploy, and evaluate complex Java and AWS applications.
  • Upgrade web applications to the latest Java version (17 or higher).
  • Address and resolve web application security vulnerabilities.
  • Complete additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of experience in Java, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Proficiency with JBOSS and Tomcat application servers.
  • Familiarity with Docker and AWS services (VPC, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Athena, Glue, CodePipeline, ECS/Fargate).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform).
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, DB2, and SQLServer, including stored procedures and advanced queries.
  • Proficient with source code management and build/deployment tools (Git, Maven, Shell scripts).
  • Solid understanding of system interdependencies and business process analysis.
  • Cross-platform solution experience and ability to document technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders.
