OVERVIEW OF ROLE:

  • In this role, you will consult with clients to recommend L&D and learning technology solutions that meet unique business needs and help grow authentic learning cultures inside of enterprise organizations. Confident, creative, and strategic, you will build trust-based partnerships with clients by bringing your L&D expertise to the table to form solutions and solve challenging problems. On a daily basis, you will share fresh perspectives in learning and development based on the latest research and out-of-box thinking. Your expertise and innovative mindset will make you an invaluable partner your clients trust to build fit-for-purpose experiences learners love
  • Qualified candidates for this role will have at least 7-10+ years of adult learning and development experience and a proven consulting track record

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Advanced Consulting & L&D Strategy

  • Serve as primary company learning consultant on 2-3 strategic accounts, driving key decisions and owning their L&D roadmap and supporting retainer management
  • Recommend strategic learning and technology solutions that lead to business impact
  • Engage in learning needs analysis and diagnostic efforts in order to identify gaps and create modern curriculum strategies, learning journeys, learner personas, learner experience design, and measurement strategy
  • Provide ongoing consultation for clients, including executive leaders, to identify, assess, and solve learning & development needs
  • Support clients with change management, including stakeholder management and internal communications

Business Development

  • Provide L&D expertise on sales calls and behind the scenes to accelerate the sales cycle and support closing new opportunities.
  • Prepare engaging, creative proposals and presentations that leverage storytelling and value-based positioning
  • Partner with Client team to contribute to the lifetime value of accounts through creative solutioning

Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or advanced degree in an Instructional Design, Talent Management, Education, or Business field or related field; master's degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in learning and development and proven consulting experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Demonstrate deep expertise in adult learning theory and learning technology and ability to communicate industry thought leadership and insights to clients in a way that resonates
  • Analyze complex issues to determine root-causes, synthesize and make connections, and drive clarity
  • Demonstrate executive presence and confidence engaging and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrate the poise, confidence, and talent to handle multiple projects with the highest level of quality
  • Model a growth mindset and personal habits that foster continuous learning
