The Company is excited to welcome a new Senior Living Community Executive to lead our independent living community. This dynamic role focuses on nurturing a warm, compassionate, and secure environment that enhances the independence and engagement of all residents. The Executive is crucial in overseeing the financial, human resources, and operational management of the community, ensuring a profitable and effective operation.
Your responsibilities will include managing all aspects of community operations across various departments—resident care, business administration, sales, culinary services, housekeeping, activities, and maintenance. A core component of the role is building and maintaining strong relationships with residents and their families, alongside managing a diverse team. You will be involved in recruitment, training, and staff development to foster a supportive workplace.
Ideal candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of management experience in the senior housing sector, preferably with a relevant college degree. Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office is essential. Strong communication abilities and a heartfelt desire to work with senior adults are crucial. Leadership skills with experience in managing large, interdisciplinary teams are key to your success.
As you tackle complex operational and personnel challenges, be prepared to obtain a valid driver's license and state administrator certification within the first 90 days if involved with assisted living management.
