Upon award, you will:
  • Participate in all aspects of ship system configuration management, installation, provisioning, and life-cycle sustainment.
  • Lead a team of logisticians to draft and consolidate inputs from stakeholders to develop and maintain Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) documentation such as Life Cycle Support Plans.
  • Coordinate The Columbia Group Team logistics support efforts and act as a liaison between the program office, shipyards, and participating Navy and contractor organizations supporting ILS activities.
  • Review DoD and NAVSEA guidance and policy for application and implementation to ILS plans and activities.
  • Interface with the shipbuilder and government technical team to provide support in the coordination of and participation in Logistics Reviews.
  • Develop ILS presentations and agendas, coordinate and conduct meetings.Position RequirementsRequired Education, Skills and Experience:
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 10+ years of NAVSEA shipbuilding logistics experience (Master's degree will count as two years of experience).
    • U.S. Citizenship is a prerequisite.
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.Preferred:
      • Master's degree in Engineering, Hard Science, or Business.
      • NAVSEA logistics experience, especially related to new ship construction, strongly preferred.This position is contingent upon and subject to the award of the contract from the government. You will be hired on a contingency basis. #J-18808-Ljbffr
