OverviewPosition Summary:Performs the maintenance repair, overhaul and setup of all the plant operating equipment.ResponsibilitiesKey AccountabilitiesEssential Functions:
- Examines and diagnoses plant equipment to correct operating difficulties including filling and packaging machines, lyophilization and support equipment, stoppering and closure machinery, labeling, packaging and finishing equipment, conveying, transferring and materials handling equipment.
- Replaces or repairs frozen or worn bearings, broken or worn parts, leaking supply lines and/or systems, gears, shafts, drive sprockets, chains, valves, belts; electrical or mechanical and/or hydraulic drive and/or control systems.
- Disassembles, cleans, oils, greases, repairs, and reassembles equipment in need of overhaul or as a preventive maintenance procedure.
- Performs installation, repair and/or maintenance work on plant building facilities.
- Constructs offices and relocates office areas as needed.
- Records, files, maintains and makes readily available all records, logs, parts' lists, suppliers' lists, work records (both performed and to be performed), stock records, manuals and/or all other required maintenance records and/or files relating to all plant operating equipment.

QualificationsMinimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position:
- High School diploma or equivalent 7 years of experience in plant maintenance.
Physical Requirements:
- This position requires the ability to lift and move materials per current OSHA standards

Travel requirements:
The hourly wage range Werfen reasonably expects to pay for the position is $35 to $40. Compensation is reasonably based upon multiple factors including education, relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, and specific needs of the business.
