About the Role

We are looking for a senior manager with strong communication skills and an entrepreneurial spirit to manage the Clio Health program. This position will be an integral contributor to the success of the awards program with the overall objectives of driving increased program awareness and revenue and assisting in all facets of the program management, marketing, and execution of our prestigious Clio judging processes.

This is a full-time, hybrid role in our NYC Chelsea office, reporting to our Executive Director.

What You'll Do as Senior Manager

  • Reporting to the Executive Director, lead the management of all aspects of program development and operations for the Clio Health Awards, Clio Health Innovators and Clio Health Catalyst Conversation programs
  • Coordinate the development and distribution of marketing materials to be used by Clio social, PR and product teams
  • Research and build trade relationships with key industry trade organizations in collaboration with the Executive Director
  • Research creative professionals and their work within the health advertising, design and communication fields
  • Manage the selection, solicitation and securing of jurors under the guidance of the Executive Director
  • Facilitate judging sessions by moderating, managing media, ensuring accuracy of results and building relationships with jurors
  • Manage judging administration, including communication and scheduling with jurors as well as cross-team collaboration internally
  • Collaborate with the Growth Marketing team on targeted award submission research and outreach
  • In partnership with the client relations team, review entry submissions to account for all required program materials
  • Assist in client relations, such as answering entry questions, recommending categories and guiding entrants through the entry system
  • Attend and participate in client meetings
  • Manage email marketing efforts and regularly update contacts in HubSpot
  • Curate and deploy weekly program newsletter
  • Support the Executive Director in new business development and initiatives

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a closely related field or a combination of education and relevant industry experience
  • 4-6 years of professional experience; ideally at an agency or within the advertising industry
  • Passion for the health and wellness industry
  • Exceptional relationship skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and confidence in presenting to new audiences
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage several workflows concurrently
  • Highly organized with ability to handle heavy workloads and work autonomously to achieve objectives
  • Extrovert who shows hustle and grit on a daily basis with determination to hit goals
  • Thrive in a startup environment and is motivated by the challenge to do things that have never been done
  • Willingness to travel 1-2 weeks per year to assist with off-site events

Office Location and Days in Office

  • Candidate would be expected to be in the New York City office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, along with additional days as needed for events, site visits, etc.
  • Monday and Friday are remote work days.*
