Senior Manager, Customer Program Planner

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Customer Program Planner to join the Customer Segment Team within our Marketing division. In this role, the Senior Manager, Customer Program Planner will be responsible for planning, managing and executing the strategic initiatives of athenahealth's Thrive program. The Thrive program has been established to transform athenahealth's three-day annual user conference into an ongoing, customer community that increases affinity for our brand and expands the lifetime value of our customers.

The ideal candidate is a dynamic and experienced leader with a proven track record of successfully building and scaling complex, multi-channel programs and partnerships. The Customer Program Planner will work closely with various stakeholders designing and planning end-to-end campaigns that incorporate online and offline channels to tell a congruent story in market. This individual will play a pivotal role in creating a seamless customer experience spanning sales, marketing, product and customer success. Meticulous attention to detail is required to ensure a consistently exceptional customer experience, while meeting ambitious business and financial goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define campaign objectives, target audiences, messaging, and key performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Oversee the planning and execution of program initiatives across various channels, including but not limited to, live events, webinars, podcasts, emails, social, and web

  • Work closely with creative, content, and product marketing to bring the narrative and key messaging to life and ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all platforms

  • Serve as the point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing regular updates on campaign progress and outcomes

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across marketing, sales, customer success, product, and partners to gain buy in, drive awareness, and foster collaboration in support of the program

  • Establish and track KPIs to assess the effectiveness of program initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement

  • Develop and execute communication strategies to promote the Thrive program both internally and externally

Typical Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related areas of study

  • 7+ years of experience in a senior role such as Marketing, Global meetings, events, or experiential marketing

  • Proven track record of planning and executing successful events and experiential marketing campaigns across physical, digital, and virtual mediums

  • Experience in the healthcare, health tech or similarly regulated environment preferred

  • Ability to execute senior leader-endorsed, multi-dimensional projects across a broad group of enterprise stakeholders

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving business outcomes

  • Ability to drive and thrive in a fast-paced environment with a proven ability to think strategically, communicate clearly, deal with ambiguity, drive clarity for the team, and work under pressure
