DescriptionPlans, manages, and coordinates the multifaceted program activities and personnel of the early childhood identification and services at several early childhood assessment team (ECAT) centers; leads the systemwide efforts in the development, management, assessment, evaluation, and revision of programs and/or projects to ensure the quality of and equitable access to educational services and resources for students; exercises leadership to design, create, implement, assess, revise, or adapt a curriculum service or other educational program.QualificationsRequired
- Master's degree.
- Five (5) years of experience in teaching and/or administration and supervision.
- Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
- Postgraduate educational license with endorsement(s) designated as appropriate to the assignment.
- Administration and supervision PreK-12 endorsement.
- Knowledge of philosophy, goals, procedures, organization, and professional specialties of the program.
- Knowledge of public education organization and administrative requirements in specialty.
- Familiarity with applicable regulations, legislations, and policies.
- Skill in teaching adult learners.
- Ability to manage and coordinate programs.
- Ability to effectively lead teams in multiple projects.
- Ability to supervise and evaluate personnel.
- Ability to establish and maintain a successful cooperative working relationship with appropriate school communities and school-based and central office staff.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and/or present information to groups.
- Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation, analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
