Position Summary

Supports the Sales and client relations function for STERIS Mobile Solutions North America through developing and managing Customer accounts to increase sales and from assigned territory. Implements selling strategies, conducts Customer appointments and presentations, negotiates and executes long-term agreements. Presents STERIS Mobile Solutions products while demonstrating understanding of Customer needs and expectations.

Duties

Client Relations

  • Develops and maintains relationships with internal and external entities such as but not limited to:
  • C suite hospital executives
  • Surgical directors and managers
  • Sterile Processing directors and managers
  • Architects and Engineers
  • STERIS Corporate Account and Business Development Directors
  • STERIS Capital Account Managers
  • STERIS Region Managers
  • STERIS Project Design Managers
  • Completes Customer site assessments to determine feasibility of installation, all costs and options required for a successful implementation.
  • Works closely with STERIS Project Design Managers (PDMs) to ensure the hospital's throughput requirements can be supported in the Mobile SPD with completion of a Capacity Study.
  • Seeks out opportunities to present STERIS Mobile Solutions to architectural and SPD communities.
  • Conducts routine check-ins and calls with active client engagements.

Financial

  • Responsible for meeting and maintaining all sales / revenue objectives.
  • Responsible for forecasting annual revenue objectives.
  • Demonstrated high degree of financial acumen- ability to create and leverage internal and customer perspective financial analysis to achieve revenue objectives.
  • Provides timely reporting of activities to the leadership to assist with planning.
  • Conducts pricing and margin analysis. Makes pricing recommendations that will achieve target operating margins for individual agreements.
  • Assists in establishing strategic territory sales objectives to meet revenue by collaborating with IPT North America Regional Sales Director, Vice President of Sales and STERIS IMS Business Development teams.
  • Evaluates territory performance against established objectives and plans, including analyzing geographical territory dynamics.
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Operational

  • Serves as the subject matter expert internally and externally.
  • Works with local STERIS IMS and STERIS North America Healthcare sales teams to further market penetration.
  • Facilitates communication and coordinate all activities for commissioning and decommissioning between STERIS teams, other contractors when applicable, and the Customer.
  • Communicates Customer requirements and assists in transitioning the sale to the implementation and operations process.
  • Travels frequently to meet and conduct client site visits and local presentations.

Product Development

  • Maintains current knowledge of the SPD, construction industry and market trends as well as technical knowledge and understanding of IPT product portfolio to advise product development and improvements.

Marketing

  • Maintains current knowledge of market landscape in assigned area and advises on marketing opportunities to achieve sales and P&L objectives.
  • Represents the business unit at tradeshows as required.
  • Engages in speaking activities to further market penetration and presence.

Strategy

  • Implements business unit strategies as assigned.
  • Monitors competitive landscape and works with leadership to maintain and improve market position.
  • Supports STERIS Corporate Account Directors and Business Development through coordination of services for national Customers.
Education Degree
  • Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience
  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years of proven working experience in healthcare industry and 5+ years Veterans Administration, Defense (DoD)/Government Contracting
  • Skills
  • Skill in consultative and solution orientated sales
  • Understanding of STERIS IPT product portfolio
  • Understanding of SPD design, codes and compliance and operational relationships with Surgery
  • Understanding of Mobile Healthcare products and platforms
  • Knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel & Access
  • Pay range for this opportunity is$98,750.00-$148,050.00.This position is eligible for bonus.

    Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.

Full-Time employees are eligible for four weeks of paid parental leave. Part-time employees also receive paid parental leave, pro-rated based on their standard hourly work week.
