The Role

The Lumen Senior Manager is a key role in a seasoned Property Tax team. We are proud of our teamwork, eagerness to help each other, and professionalism. The Main Responsibilities

  • Gather and review data to ensure accuracy in returns.
  • Prepare ad valorem annual state and local returns.
  • Work with governmental officials to settle values.
  • Track assessments and upload values into the bill payment system.
  • Review bills to ensure the value is correct and correspond with government officials if needed.
  • Approve bill payments.
  • Provide tax estimates for budget purposes.
  • Identify automation opportunities and implement identified strategies.
  • Assist team with audits and appeals on an ad hoc basis.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    • What We Look For in a Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or other related field.
  • Broad understanding of centrally and locally assessed property tax process.
  • Time management skills to manage multiple due dates for compliance and bill payment.
  • Eagerness to learn and help others.
  • Telecom experience helpful.
  • Superior skills in all Microsoft Office products, PowerPoint, Alteryx.
  • Broad understanding of property tax compliance with an emphasis on unitary appraisal.

    • Compensation

    This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

    Location Based Pay Ranges:

  • $129,639 - $172,852 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.
  • $136,121 - $181,494 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.
  • $142,603 - $190,137 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
