Job Summary

Were seeking a strategic and highly skilled Senior Manager of Proposal Development to lead and elevate our proposal efforts. This individual will oversee the development of multiple complex, compelling proposals while guiding a team of managers/writers. The Senior Manager will bring a creative, solution-oriented approach to proposal strategy, actively shaping the future of our content and leading initiatives to streamline and innovate our proposal processes. The ideal candidate has a demonstrated history in managing high-value, large-scale proposals, exceptional writing and editing skills, and the ability to motivate and mentor team members in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:* Strategic Proposal Leadership: Lead the full lifecycle of proposal development, ensuring proposals are cohesive, compelling, and fully aligned with client needs. Develop and implement proposal strategies that position us for success in competitive bids.* Content Strategy & Ownership: Oversee the development and management of our content library, ensuring that content is accurate, persuasive, and reflects the latest in industry standards and best practices. Regularly update and curate resources to improve efficiency and effectiveness.* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with key stakeholders, including Sales, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and Creative Teams, to develop tailored content and visuals that align with client goals and enhance our value proposition.* Process Improvement: Identify, lead, and implement process improvements to streamline proposal creation, increase team productivity, and ensure consistency across proposals. Introduce best practices and new tools to optimize content creation and management.* Mentorship & Development: Mentor and guide proposal team members, providing coaching and feedback to improve proposal quality and support professional growth.* Project & Schedule Management: Oversee proposal schedules, managing resources and deadlines to ensure on-time, high-quality submissions across multiple, simultaneous projects. Balance large-scale, fast-paced project demands with strong prioritization skills. Manage workload of proposal development team and assign projects based on skillset and capacity. * Content Creation & Editing: Craft, review, and refine content for clarity, accuracy, and impact. Lead executive summary development, technical responses, and solution overviews, maintaining a high standard of quality and cohesion across all sections.* Quality & Compliance Assurance: Conduct comprehensive compliance and quality checks on all proposal submissions, ensuring full adherence to client requirements and RFP specifications.* Post-Submission Review & Follow-up: Coordinate post-submission activities, including clarifications, revisions, and follow-ups, ensuring continuous alignment with client expectations and evolving requirements.* Presentation Development: Support presentation preparation by outlining key deliverables and collaborating with designers to create impactful visuals and presentation materials.

Short Description

Qualifications:* Education & Experience: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years in full life cycle proposal development and proven leadership experience. Previous experience in Facilities Management is a plus. * Writing Skills: Exceptional proofreading, editing, and writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.* Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective collaboration.* Strategic & Process-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to think strategically about proposal development and content management, with experience implementing process improvements in a fast-paced environment.* Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).* Time Management: Strong time management and prioritization skills, coupled with sound judgment in decision-making.
