This role works closely with senior leaders across the organization to develop proactive mitigation plans for identified risks and to build resilience into organizational operations to ensure continuity and effectiveness in the event of business disruption.The position will be located in the US* (*GA, FL, IL, MD, NC, PA, SC, TX, VA) or the UK, and eligible for flexible working. It reports to the Senior Director, Facilities, Real Estate & Sustainability.Job Description:The requirements for this role include:* Develop, publish, implement, and maintain a cohesive Operational Resilience Program to ensure the stability of the organization's operations, programs, and initiatives. Establish monitoring mechanisms to track the implementation and effectiveness of Operational Resilience Program.* Develop and maintain crisis management protocols and procedures. Support response efforts during crises or emergencies, ensuring timely and effective action to minimize disruption and harm.* Ensure compliance with policy and procedures to ensure consistent application across the organization by cultivating long-term, collaborative, strategic relationships across the business lines of defense and supporting the realization of operational efficiencies.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate resilience considerations into program planning and implementation.* Foster a culture of resilience within the organization through awareness-raising activities and knowledge sharing. Provide training and support to staff and partners on operational resilience best practices.* In conjunction with senior leaders in the Risk function, support comprehensive assessments of operational risks facing our programs globally to ensure the effectiveness and feasibility of mitigation measures.* Collaborate with external partners to leverage resources and expertise in building operational resilience.The skills & experience required for this role include:* Proven progressive experience in related roles at global organizations, including risk or crisis management* Proven experience in program management, risk assessment, and crisis management* Strong understanding of operational resilience principles and practices globally* Demonstrated experience leveraging project management and change management skills to develop and execute complex projects in a global environment* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate risks effectively* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders at the most senior levels of the organization* ABCP certification preferred, with a willingness to obtain within the first year of employment* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment, with a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration* Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as needed; no more than 10%This job description is a summary of job requirements and duties and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all areas of responsibility.If you feel this opportunity could be the next step in your career, we encourage you to click Apply and complete our three-minute application.To stay up to date on current news and events, follow CFA Institute's LinkedIn page.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
