Find us wherever there's a challenge to be tackled and an impact to be made.Our Financial Service practice is looking for an experienced Senior Manager or Director to join the team.Through continued expansion, we are looking for a consulting director to join and support the growth of our financial services practice. This is an exciting opportunity for entrepreneurially minded consultants who are excited at the possibility of joining and helping to grow a practice that delivers a fundamentally different experience for clients and employees. As a privately held LLP, this position offers the possibility of admission to an equity Partnership with sustained high-performance.What you will be doingAs part of our team, you will work closely with our clients on challenging and rewarding engagements. You will be leading business development, project delivery and high-quality project execution. Your key responsibilities will include:Lead go-to-market strategy and business development activities across banking, asset managers, insurers, and private equity clientsLead thought leadership and coordination with ESG-industry groups; participate and represent Baringa at industry eventsLead client delivery on multiple engagements and drive development of Baringa frameworks/methodologies to drive innovation solutions for our clients across different stakeholder groups – strategy, front office, risk, finance, data, and regulatory complianceEnsure quality execution of project planning and pricing through delivery and closureDrive collaboration with the global team on development of Baringa IP and internal strategic initiativesDevelop and nurture deep and quality relationships with multiple strategic senior clientsYour skills and experienceOur Senior Manager position requires 8+ years of experience (Director 10+ years) in a consulting role, with experience in financial services.We are seeking experienced consulting industry professionals who bring a track record of successfully contributing to building and growing trusted client relationships, delivering complex client engagements and developing consulting practitioners. Strong consideration will be given to the following skills and experience:Deep management consulting experience and curious personality by nature; large scale transformation experience with executive presence and ability to cultivate strong client and personal relationships Deep experience and understanding of financial services in domains across banking products (wholesale and retail), capital markets and private equity, together with practical experience in navigating sustainable finance solutions Strong understanding of ESG industry frameworks, research papers with deep knowledge in multiple domains (e.g., decarbonization solutions, ESG frameworks and regulations – ISSB, TCFD, PCAF, etc., climate risk stress testing, sustainable finance product strategies Strong understanding of risk management across different domains (e.g., credit risk, market risk), finance and regulatory reporting Knowledge of US financial services regulatory landscape and experience in meeting non-ESG regulatory requirements (e.g., CCAR, resolution planning, 10-k financial reporting) Ability to team across our Financial Services team and build our global business to drive business development opportunities in other domains (e.g., risk, finance, tech, data)What a career at Baringa will give youPuttingPeopleFirst.Baringa is a People First company and wellbeing is at the forefront of our culture.
