Senior Mechanical Engineer - Actalent : Job Details

Actalent is hiring a Mechanical EngineerQualification:* Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering from an accredited University required* PE Licensed in NY/NJ* 10+ Years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer* Proficient in Designing HVAC systems and knowledge of Plumbing/Fire Protection equipment* Excellent written and oral communication skills* Experience with technically complex project types* Ability to assume responsibility, effectively and cohesively interface and communicate with clients, architects, and other trades.Description:Present design options to the rest of the team, architects, a nd clients for evaluation.* Productively work and manage within a team environment on multiple design and construction projects* Detail oriented - able to effectively manage time and budget to meet project deliverables and schedules* Strong understanding of all A/E disciplines and project coordination* Field experience (understanding of construction principles, methods. and best practices)* Proficient in: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, Bluebeam Revu, Procore, Prolog, etc.* AutoCAD MEP 3D, Navisworks, and Revit MEP to prepare construction documents and sketches in 3D environment a plusSkills:Design, Mechanical, mep engineering, hvac system, autocad, mep design, mep, revit, revit mep, Mechanical design, Mechanical engineeringTop Skills Details:Design,Mechanical,mep engineering,hvac system,autocad,mep design,mep,revit,revit mepAdditional Skills & Qualifications:* Data Center/commercial experience* Mission Critical experience is preferred.* Agency work preferred* Commissioning (Cx) experience a plus* LEED Certification and Green Building initiatives preferred* Licensed P.E or EIT with test for PE ScheduledExperience Level:Expert LevelAbout ActalentActalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
