Job DetailsAs a Mechanical Engineer, you will lead the mechanical design to complete engineering projects forpublic and private facilities throughout South Florida. The position will have direct interface withclients, subconsultants, contractors, sub-contractors, and other supporting organizations.Tasks include:

• Design and Engineering of HVAC systems, Plumbing Systems, and Fire Protection

systems

• Project specification writing
• Project cost estimating
• Code analysis
• Energy modeling
• Review project submittals, answer RFI's and other Construction Administration Services
• Collaboration with all internal discipline employees, external design partners, and clients
• Attend project site visits and client meetings
• Visit project sites for site investigations of existing buildings
• Perform mechanical, plumbing and fire protection engineering calculations
• Effectively communicate complex ideas and solve engineering issues that may arise

Qualifications:

• 3 or more years of experience in various types of facilities
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
• Knowledge of building codes and energy standards
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT is essential
• Experience with Trane TRACE, COMCheck, and other leading energy modeling software
