Position Details:
- Pay is $18.00 - $20.50 per hour
- Mileage Reimbursement + Cell Phone stipend
- Schedule is Monday - Friday, from 8am - 5pm
Position Summary:As a Senior Merchandiser, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our strategic sales initiatives in your assigned sales region, collaborating closely with the Account Executive in that area. Your responsibilities will encompass tasks focused on executing our SmartStock program, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing merchandising and sales support. You will also be responsible for building strong relationships with customers in the sales region, supporting Sales Representatives in addressing their needs and concerns. Your professionalism and business execution are critical contributions to driving business forward for our customers, vendors, and ourselves.Position Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a detailed and specific call routine with a designated ledger of customers.
- Maintenance and execution of the SmartStock program (racks, plan-o-grams, ordering, and merchandising activities).
- Identifying and reducing out-of-stocks on shelves.
- Ensuring products are fresh and within date code parameters.
- Attending to customer needs and concerns promptly.
- Ensuring plan-o-gram, marketing best practices, and compliance in stores.
- Identifying display opportunities and maximizing display positioning.
- Ensuring that products are properly displayed, priced, and identified.
- Finding solutions to possible customer challenges with assistance.
- Performing other tasks and duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to travel 5 days per week.
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to convenience stores & customer locations
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Strong oral & written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Self-motivated, self-starter with strong attention to detail
Qualification:
• High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.• 6+ months of working experience in a customer service, merchandising or relevant industry.• Ability to drive to customer locations using personal transportation (mileage and gasoline reimbursement provided).• Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and proper valid insurance.
