Job Title:Senior Mold MakerJob Description:Here at Entegris, we use advanced science to enable technologies that transform the world, and we are seeking employees who have the drive to continue that mission.Our site in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking aSenior Moldmakerto join our team.HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE MONDAY-FRIDAY SECOND SHIFT.Entegris is looking for an experienced Mold Maker who is responsible for building, revising and maintaining Entegris and customer owned molds, tooling, and fixtures by performing machining and mechanical processes, methods and techniques. This individual provides support for Production and Product Development through process and product improvements. The Mold Maker will work on a shift and provide guidance to tool room technicians on the shift.What you'll do:Support production by maintaining/building molds as needed. Repair tools in the press if possible to allow quick turn-around with issues as they arise.Maintain current/appropriate documentation in mold files. Keep an accurate record on ECO changes and repairs for future reference.Operate all Tool Room equipment at a high level of competency (CNC Mills, CNC EDMs, Wire EDM's Mills, Grinding, and all hand working skills required to polish).Utilize Mastercam, Solidworks and Pro/E software to create or modify moderately complex solid models.Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to mold cycling, mold function in the press, miscellaneous tooling and fixtures.Complete miscellaneous tasks in support of the larger organization and production goals (i.e. fixtures, end of arm tooling, 2nd operations, ancillary machining projects).What We Seek:High school diploma and a 2-year degree in mold making, apprenticeship or equivalent.5 years plus work experience as a mold/ tool maker in a tool room / job shop environmentAll mold making competencies (design, build, revise, repair, troubleshoot)Problem solving and mechanical troubleshooting skills.Ability to read and understand work instructions and perform math computations and computer data entry.Ability to lift 50 lbs., walk and stand during entire shift in a manufacturing environment.Ability to visually detect quality defects.What We Offer:At Entegris, we invest in providing opportunity to our employees and promote from within.
