Senior NERC Compliance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Coordinate company compliance activities with NPCC and NERC and respond to NERC Alerts.
• Engage with subject matter experts across the company to interpret NERC Standards and ensure high standards of compliance.
• Engage with subject matter experts across the company to interpret NERC Standards and ensure high standards of compliance
• Oversee the NERC Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement Program, maintaining high standards of excellence.
• Participate in NPCC and NERC committees and working groups.
• Coordinate activities with compliance partners and peers including the NYISO, NYPA and neighboring utilities.
• Participate in evaluating new NERC Standards and brief executives on emerging compliance issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working with NERC reliability Standards.
• Competency in drafting technical procedures, business process documents or specifications for the electric power industry.
