Hi Title: Network Engineer Location: Germantown, MD - Onsite. 5 day a week Duration of the project: Min 6 Months extendable to upto 2 yrs Client - Talteam - End customer - Hughes Network Systems (an EchoStar Company) Interview Process: 2 ( First round Teams - then onsite) Update: The manager is looking for candidates within a 20-25mile radius from Germantown, MD Job Description:

  • MS degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field and 2-3 years' experience in Customer Network Engineering, or
  • BS degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field plus 5 years' experience in Customer Network Engineering.
  • Design, implement, troubleshoot, and manage routing and switching of Enterprise Customers' terrestrial networks.
  • Ensure the secure transmission of network traffic through network nodes.
  • Work on different vendors like Cisco, Fortinet, Meraki, Velcloud, Cradlepoint products to build and manage Customer networks.
  • Enable new features in networking devices and implement network systems improvements to enhance network performance and reliability.
  • Configure and support Enterprise Customers' routers and switches with networking protocols to ensure seamless communication among network devices.
  • Work on Windows and Linux servers to troubleshoot network issues and to analyze network performance.
  • Perform firmware upgrades on networking devices for bug fixes and enhancements.
  • Use Python Programming Language for config management in cloudify orchestration system and use Python to automate processes.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • CCNP or Fortinet certification
  • Python Programming Language
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working on data networking protocols and telecommunications.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new products and technologies quickly.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills
