Senior Network Engineer - Phaxis : Job Details

Salary is 130k to 155k

Seeking an experienced Network Engineer with over 5 years of industry experience and expert knowledge in network operations and core network infrastructure implementation in both data center and enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies, as well as a strong background in network security solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Implement, maintain, and optimize core network infrastructure in both data center and enterprise environments.
• Configure and manage Layer 2 technologies including STP, LACP, and vPC to ensure high availability and efficient data transmission.
• Configure and maintain Layer 3 routing protocols including EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, vRF, and route redistribution for optimal routing performance.
• Implement and manage network security technologies including firewalls, ACLs, IPSec VPNs, and NAT on firewalls to protect enterprise networks.
• Provide hands-on support for Cisco networking equipment, including Nexus/Catalyst switches and Cisco ASA firewalls, ensuring efficient and secure network operations.
• Implement DMZ segmentation for enhanced security and optimal performance across network segments.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of industry experience in network operations and core infrastructure implementation.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Layer 2 (STP, LACP, vPC) and Layer 3 (EIGRP/OSPF, BGP, vRF, route redistribution) technologies.
• Proficient in network security solutions, including firewalls, ACLs, IPSec VPNs, and NAT.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment, including Nexus/Catalyst switches and Cisco ASA Firewalls.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.

Preferred:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) would be advantageous.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
