SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our complex network infrastructure. You will provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our network. This position requires a deep understanding of networking principles, hands-on experience with a variety of network technologies, and a passion for problem-solving.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless access points

  • Document network configurations and procedures

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.

  • Develop and implement network security policies and procedures to protect against cyber threats.

  • Monitor network performance and identify areas for optimization.

  • Automate network tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).

  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network services.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and trends.

  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.

  • Contribute to the development of network disaster recovery plans.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Extensive knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS).

  • Hands-on experience with configuring and managing network devices from major vendors (e.g., Cisco, Aruba, Checkpoint Networks).

  • Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.

  • Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) is highly desired.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE ) are a plus.
