Job Description :

Installation, maintenance, administration, and upgrades of the Network Infrastructure. Configure and deploy routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices. Lead network-related projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with business goals.

  • Provide support for PCs, servers, printers, and networking. Duties include configuration, installation, and troubleshooting hardware.
  • Moves, Adds, Changes - provide PCs, phones, network connections, and installation of new equipment as needed.
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve system outages, working with vendors as necessary.
  • Design, configure, and implement network solutions to meet business needs.
  • Printer/Scanner configuration setup and interaction with network.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, installation procedures, and configurations.
  • Manage network-related projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Primary tech for phone systems. Includes setup, programming, maintenance, moves, adds, changes and troubleshooting.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for O365 applications and services.
  • Provide back up support to ISD help desk via phone and email regarding Microsoft Office, Vertafore, Email, phones, and other third-party software, hardware, and websites. Work support ticket queues and resolve in a timely manner.
  • Maintain professional accreditation necessary to meet agency standards.
  • Build and maintain a favorable and professional work relationship with other staff members.
  • Communicate with Supervisor/Manager any issues to ensure excellent service.
  • Adhere to established employee manual policies and guidelines.
  • Adhere to workflow procedures and follow guidelines to reduce the risk of E&O claims.
  • Promptly report all E&O claims and potential E&O claims.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff, and agency information.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols.
  • Proficiency with network device installation and configuration (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Understanding of VoIP/Video interaction with the network.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions accurately.
  • Capable of lifting and moving equipment, working in various physical environments, and complying with safety protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of O365 applications and services, including Exchange, email administration.
  • Proficiency in project management and use of project management software.
  • Must be flexible and able to work weekend and evening hours as required.
  • Works effectively and relates well with others, including superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company, in a professional manner.
  • Strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and people skills.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Salary Description $70,000.00
