Job Description :
As a Senior Operations Accounting Analyst, Aerospace, you will support the business by providing accurate and timely data and analysis related to product costs, manufacturing and distribution operations, and relevant variances for certain U.S. locations. This role is outstanding because it supports the exciting products and technologies Aerospace offers and is part of the Global Business Finance Support organization reporting to the Aerospace Senior Financial Analyst.   • Complete month end close activities related to manufacturing and distribution operations and preparation of internal management reporting.
  • Provide the business with profit analysis in communication of distribution costs, manufacturing results and variances, purchase price variance, period costs, estimates, and manufacturing strategy.
  • Oversee all inventory accounts including trend analysis, monthly account reconciliation, physical inventory audits, and physical inventory reconciliation.
  • Complete the annual budget and periodic product re-costs to support accurate inventory valuation and business decisions focused on product profitability.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing location personnel to provide timely information, support, and resolution of issues.
  • Provide support to the plant leadership team to develop and execute capital investments and conduct post- completion analysis to ensure key deliverables.
  • Prepare and submit monthly manufacturing variance forecasts to corporate.
  • Preparation and completion of various year-end Corporate, or US Government, financial or manufacturing statistics schedules.
  • Business Partner to plant leadership and business unit leadership.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with 3+ years of experience.
  • Outstanding Excel knowledge required.
  • Travel up to 25% will be required.
  • You must work without close supervision, while ensuring tasks are completed effectively, consistently, and within established deadlines.
