Apply Now!Qualifications/Requirements:In this position, you will serve as a senior Air Force (AF) Operations Research Analyst/Computer Scientist providing expertise in initiating, applying, and planning major developmental studies. The Headquarters Air Force (HAF), Force Capability Analysis Directorate (SAF/SAF) is recognized as the AF authority on operations research, advanced, analytical, mathematical, and statistical theories, principles, concepts, methods, and techniques to provide expert judgments concerning the validity of assumptions made and the criteria to evaluate alternatives and providing expert guidance and advice to HAF staff, Major Command (MAJCOM) activities, and/or other agencies. Must be a U.S. CitizenMust be able to obtain & maintain a Top Secret (TS) Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Security clearance for intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP).This is a designated Drug Testing Position.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Degree in operations research; or at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus. Advanced degree(s) are preferred. TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE INCLUDED.In-depth knowledge of a broad range of methods and techniques used in classical and modern advanced operations research studies and possession of analytical abilities.
