Provides support for internal teams in the Manufacturing Assembly area. Follows routine administrative processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables. Maintains high standards of integrity, efficiency, personal communication, discretion, and independent judgment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Completes tasks for the support function of the Manufacturing Assembly area under general supervision, and follows routine administrative processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables.• Assists with set up, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery/equipment• Helps supervise and install components of basic in-process products, assemblies, or sub-assemblies on the assembly line.• Builds proficiency with routine machinery• Ensures precision of daily assembly production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis• Demonstrates Johnson & Johnson's Leadership Imperatives and CredoQualificationsEducation:• High school Diploma or equivalent experience or GEDEXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:• Generally, requires 2-4 years' Manufacturing Experience• Minimum two years in a manufacturing experience in the medical device industry is preferred• Demonstrate ability to perform assembly of small components following detailed instructions.• Ability to read and comprehend technical documentation.• Excellent organizational skills, problem solving techniques and accuracy.• Shown ability to positively mange working relationships.• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.• Outstanding personal initiative and desire to drive continuous improvements.PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS/ REQUIREMENTS • Standing (40%)• Kneeling (10%)• Sitting (45%)• Walking (10%)• LIFTING/ CARRYING• Light (0-20LBS)• Medium (16-30LBS)• Heavy (50+ LBS w/assistance or mechanically aided)WORK SITEThis is a fully on-site position in Madison, WI. This position is first shift Monday -Friday 8am to 4:30pm.
