Job Title – Patent Prosecution Partner

Salary/Package - $400,000 - $800,000+ Basic Salary + Package dependent on portable book size/experience

Location – Remote working from anywhere in the US

Exceptional Law Firm (based New York) specialising in Intellectual Property/Patent Law with circa 50 attorneys/$25 million turnover. Fast establishing a reputation as a serious alternative to Big Law both for employees and clients alike. This firm have a proven track record of successful patent claim resolutions through settlements and verdicts and are highly respected in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Handling patent issues, including prosecution of patent applications, and dealing with USPTO matters
• Drafting and filing patent applications
• Advising on IP protection strategies
• Dealing with the entire patent application process and representing clients in the event of post-grant proceedings
• Utilising high level analytical skills to conduct complex analysis of legal matters
• High level writing skills

Candidate Requirements:

• 5 years+ Patent Prosecution experience
• $1m+ Portable Book
• Any technical background considered (Biological Sciences, chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, etc)
