Senior Pediatric Registered Nurse - Tandym Group : Job Details

A Child Welfare Agency in Queens is currently seeking a Sr. Pediatric RN to join their growing Pediatric team. About the Opportunity:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Assignment Length: Ongoing (Contract to Hire)
• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Hours: 9-5p or 10-6p
• EMR: Accumed
• Patient Population: Newborn to 21
• Patient Volume: 10 patients per day

• Conducting assessments, including: HIV risk assessments, intake assessments, general first aid and triage activities.
• Conducting screenings for: substance abuse, developmental health, mental health and physical body checks for abuse
• Providing appropriate physical clearances (e.g. body checks) for routine visits, home transfers, discharges, etc.
• Facilitating patient management of chronic conditions, such as diabetes and asthma; and providing patient and caregiver education.

• NYS Registered Nurse
• Master's or Bachelor's of Science in Nursing

• Bilingual is a plus, not mandatory
• Administrative Experience
• Experience working in child welfare environment is a plus
