About the Role

The Company is excited to welcome a Senior Philanthropy Executive to spearhead our philanthropic initiatives aimed at enhancing community health and quality of life. This strategic leader will be responsible for crafting and executing an innovative fundraising strategy that aligns with our critical organizational goals. The Senior Philanthropy Executive will set ambitious annual and long-term fundraising objectives, build and nurture relationships with major donors, corporate sponsors, and foundations, and oversee various fundraising streams including annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, and special events.

The ideal candidate will champion a culture of philanthropy within the organization, engage actively with the community, and ensure the sustainability of our mission. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with an advanced degree preferred. Candidates should possess at least 7 years of senior-level development experience in a nonprofit context, preferably in healthcare, higher education, or similar fields. A certified fundraising executive (CFRE) or advanced healthcare philanthropy (FAHP) designation is highly regarded.

Collaboration is key, as the Senior Philanthropy Executive will work closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and executive leadership to weave philanthropy into the fabric of our organization. We are looking for a visionary, results-driven leader with a robust track record in fundraising, exceptional communication skills, and the capacity to develop and execute forward-thinking, data-informed strategies that optimize fundraising outcomes.
