Responsibilities The Senior Physical Therapist assists the Director and Assistant Director of Physical Therapy in the planning and supervision of Physical Therapy Department while also providing inpatient acute care PT services. Responsibilities:

• Aiding the Director and Assistant Director of PT in overseeing the daily operations of the inpatient PT service.
• Serving as a clinical resource to other Physical Therapy staff.
• Providing Physical Therapy inpatient services to cardiac, orthopedic, neurologic, vascular, pulmonary and medical-surgical patients.
• Education of patients and family members
• Work with interdisciplinary team for individualized plans of care and transition planning

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy or Master's degree or higher in Physical Therapy. Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• NYS Physical Therapist license and registration
• At least 5 years of experience as a PT - 2 years of acute inpatient experience required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• 1-2 years' experience preferred
• BLS required within 60 days of hire

Pay Range USD $55.00 - USD $65.00 /Hr. Qualifications This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
