Equity Staffing has an exciting opportunity as a Senior Pipeline Engineer with one of the largest infrastructure companies in North America! We are seeking a seasoned Senior Pipeline Engineer with extensive experience in Wonderware InTouch, Windows networking, and PLC programming. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of legacy versions of Wonderware (10.1 to 10.6) and Application Server (up to 2017). This role will involve providing support, handling assigned tickets, and maintaining effective communication with various stakeholders. The candidate will work in a hybrid environment, spending three days a week in the office and the remaining two days working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

Wonderware Support:

• Respond to support calls and tickets related to Wonderware InTouch and Application Server.

• Identify and fix issues promptly, ensuring minimal downtime for pipeline operations.

• Collaborate with control rooms and field technicians to troubleshoot and resolve problems.

PLC Programming:

• Utilize expertise in GE PLC or Emerson PLC programming, with a preference for candidates experienced in Emerson PLC (GE PAC line).

• Transition and learn Emerson PLC line, or any other PLC programming experience, to facilitate smoother integration.

Windows Networking:

• Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in Windows networking, including firewall rules, PowerShell scripting, and administrative tasks.

• Understand software integration in Windows and set up networking within the Windows environment.

On-call Support:

• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, approximately one week every five weeks.

• During on-call weeks, respond to hotline calls and tickets promptly, with the flexibility to work from home.

Communication Skills:

• Effectively communicate with multiple parties, including pipeline controllers, I&E technicians, and internal customers.

• Provide concise instructions and updates on issue resolution to ensure smooth pipeline production.

Project Work:

• Depending on support load, undertake assigned project work related to PLC programming or Wonderware programming.

• Ensure thorough documentation and follow-through on all projects.

Hybrid Schedule:

• Work a hybrid schedule, with Monday to Wednesday in the office and Thursday to Friday working from home.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in related field

• 5+ years experience working with Wonderware InTouch and Application Server (versions 10.1 to 10.6 and up to 2017).

• Proficient in Windows networking, including firewall rules, PowerShell, and administrative tasks.

• Seasoned background in Wonderware with a track record of successful support and troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Server 2003 and above.

• Experience in a Remote Desktop environment.

• Ideally, experience with GE PLC or Emerson PLC (preferred but not mandatory).

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

• Ability to work in a 24/7 on-call rotation with a week on-call every five weeks.
